Art, music, and literature awaken us to the alluring beauty of the destiny of greater things. But, as C.S.Lewis cautions,"The book, music (and I,Linda, would add art)in which we thought the beauty was located will betray us if we trust to them; it was not in them, it only came through them, and what came through them was longing...They are not the thing itself; they are only the scent of a flower we have not found, the echo of a tune we have not heard, news from a country we have never visited." Kendra, the gold in your painting points to the place,Heaven, where we Christian Believers someday will go, through the grace of God. PTL! --Linda Brown |

A guest viewing work at Highland Park Presbyterian Church ONE Gallery comments, " I have a varied art collection but nothing based on scripture." "After seeing this collection of faith based art, I am now inspired to consider artwork that will remind me daily of scripture as I passs by,perhaps placed where I do my devotions." "It might also serve to open a conversation with a non believing guest who visits my home." |

After all was said and done today, I took a moment to stop and look at the exhibit. It is so diverse, so beautiful and reflects an abundance of love for Christ and for our fellow citizens in His world. I see people being lifted and hearts being touched. I see us growing and sharing and expanding to reach others. I see God’s hands holding the dream we share. What a wonderful thing. Thank you for the blessings you each are and for the opportunity to serve in this way. This is good. Love to you all – Cindy Norris |
