Honoring John Banker
Today we lift up the life and passing of John Banker who with his wife Betty, faithfully devoted 50 years of their lives translating the Bible into the Bahnar language in Viet Nam. John and Betty were in Viet Nam as recently as Fall of 2011 conducting Bible translation workshops.
He went through the Gates of Splendor yesterday evening surrounded by family while listening to his wife of over 50 years, sing sweet hymns in her beautiful clear voice.

Final Days for seeing " A Walk with C. S. Lewis"

Last chance for seeing "A Walk wiht C. S. Lewis" an art collection inspired by the life and works of C. S. Lewis.  Currently showing at Faith Bible Church 1437 W. Pleasant Run Road in Desoto, TX thru Nov. 3oth in the church gallery.

This exhibition has had an amazing run in 2012. Premiering at The Arlington Museum of Art, on to the Granville Arts Center Garland, TX, then to Dallas Baptist University before making its final apppearnace at Faith Bible Church.
